Louise Ashcroft

The Crawling Eye was a B-movie made at Southall Film Studios in the 1950's. I recreated the central monster prop in the film and carried it through the streets around where the old film studios once stood. By removing the eye prop from it's fictional space and recontextualising it in the real space of the surrounding streets the prop took on new myth and meaning.
